Vision

Our Chicago neighborhoods, at peace.

Mission

We assist young adult Peace Builders as they develop the skills and wisdom necessary to create a culture of peace.

Our Peace Builders will:

• Examine the root causes of violence in all its forms in the Chicago area, understand its symptoms and effects, and explore the historical alternatives to confront violence.

• Train in nonviolent leadership.

• Become global citizens by exposure to and interaction with peacemakers in Southeast Asia.

• Grow personally and professionally as they engage experts, activists and religious, spiritual and civic leaders.

• Share their knowledge and experiences as they lead their communities in a sustained effort to create a culture of peace.
